Office Fitout for a National House Builder

The Brief

The client was moving from an old office (with individual/smaller offices – 80 office workers) to a newly renovated, open plan office. As part of this project, the client had to obtain three proposals/quotes, Supplies Web were £56k and £31k CHEAPER than the others!

The Approach

Our team selected products that would help the client achieve collaboration and comfort in their new vibrant office. They wanted quality and clean space in every area – from the office space, the meeting rooms, the boardroom and the breakout area/kitchen.

Plans were presented to the client, products were demonstrated at the manufacturers’ showroom, meaning absolute confidence in product selection. This meant quality, modern, and clean office furniture, utilising different fabrics and colours to create personality! Monitor arms and ergonomic products were also installed, and we even offered a new office move bundle, incorporating product line bins, and coat hangers.

In line with company ESG expectations, we coordinated the new office fit-out clearing out the old office and taking care of any mess. The old office was cleared out in three days. That part of the project was managed very closely, and achieved strategically within timescales – the client did not need to lift a finger or worry! Access was challenging with individual offices over three floors, and approximately 12 tonnes of old furniture removed. Over 98% of the old furniture was re-purposed or recycled, something both the client and ourselves, were extremely happy about.

Logistically, the project plan was managed very closely, overcoming major logistical challenges. The artic couldn’t get anywhere near the building, which wasn’t ideal (12 tonnes of furniture) and the building contractors were delayed. We solved this by deploying smaller vehicles and moffett to ensure safe delivery to the clients’ new office AND we still managed to deliver and install in less days than originally allocated, phew!

The client appreciated our flexibility and commented ‘’that our part of the project was seamless and never in doubt’’!

End result

The client’s new office was delivered and installed within budget and before the agreed deadline. Whilst the client was seriously challenged by other parties in the workflow, they couldn’t sing our praises enough, delighted with the quality, look, comfort and vibes of the new interior products. They had a major headache with the old office, presenting a small window to clear it, which was achieved within budget and before the deadline, The best? over 98% of the old products did NOT go to landfill!
