2024 Charities of the Year announced

We are committed to looking after our people and the communities we are part of. That’s why in 2024 we will be supporting two local charities as part of our Toner & Cartridge Recycling Scheme.

Don’t trash it, recycle it!

Did you know we offer a convenient toner/cartridge recycling scheme? It’s very simple – instead of throwing away your used ink cartridges, you can give them to us so we can recycle them and raise funds for our chosen charities. It’s a win-win for the environment and worthy causes!

Over the last couple of years, we’ve raised funds for The Horse Trust and WorkAid, and in 2024 we’re raising funds for the two amazing charities:

Wycombe Homeless Connection

Wycombe Homeless Connection is a Christian-led charity that serves people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in South Buckinghamshire. We truly believe that everyone, no matter their situation is worthy of basic needs like food and shelter. Wycombe Homeless Connection do a fantastic job at providing a range of free services to help people who are experiencing homelessness, as well as to help people avoid homelessness, including:

– emergency accommodation
– a support centre that offers wide-ranging help and advice
– community outreach walks to connect people to our services
– housing legal clinics where people facing a housing crisis can get specialist support to avoid illegal and unfair eviction
– help to access health services and much more!

Harrogate and District Foodbank

1 in 5 people in the UK live below the poverty line. This is why we’ve chosen to support Harrogate and District Foodbank – we believe nobody should face going hungry. This amazing charity provides three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in a crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

How to get involved

Help us to raise funds for these worthy causes during 2024! All you have to do is put your used toners, inkjets and drum units in the recycling boxes we provide for you. Once your box is full, please email Sian on sian@suppliesweb.com to arrange for a collection. If you require any additional boxes, you can email Sian to arrange this.

Important:
We are able to recycle toners, inkjets and drum units. Please be advised that we are no longer able to collect compatible toner cartridges for recycling. We will, however, continue to collect and recycle any original branded toners. Please could you ensure that you only put original branded toners in the recycling box.
